In this age of ‘ghost written’ blogs and tweets (none of that here, thank you very much), I wanted to personally take a moment to say a big thank you to everyone, and in particular all the audience members, who helped make the premiere of my show Classic Conjuring a great success at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2018. Thank you! Of course, although the Fringe comes to an end, alongside performing one of the delights of being at the Fringe is the chance to see other performers. For raucous fun, it was hard to go past Japanese comic mime/magician duo Gamajobat (a brilliant performance which left the entire theatre convulsed with laughter for nearly a whole hour), while father and son, Gyles Brandreth and Benet Brandreth, each in their very different one-man shows, delighted with their comedic wit and remarkable story-telling ability.
